Greetings! We just wanted to send you a reminder that as of December 1, 2024, the servicing of your home loan (the collection of loan payments) has been transferred to Valon Mortgage. You likely have some questions so please find below some important information regarding this transfer.
Who do I make my December 1st payment to?
You will pay Valon Mortgage. Send payments to Valon Mortgage Inc., PO Box 660043, Dallas, TX 75266-0043
How do I contact Valon Mortgage?
You can call at 1-855-218-3690 or on the web at https://valon.com/transfer.
Will my payment change?
No! The terms of your loan will not change as a result of this transfer. Your interest rate and monthly payment amount will remain the same. Should your taxes or insurance change as a result of increased tax assessments or insurance premium changes, Valon Mortgage will notify you of that if/when it occurs.
What if I paid Advisors my December payment in November?
No worries! We processed your payment and credited your account. All your loan records are being transferred to Valon Mortgage.
What if I have auto payments set up?
If you had an auto payment set up for December 1st or after, we have canceled the payment for you. If we receive any checks from your bank, we will forward them on to Valon Mortgage on your behalf.
Will my loan records be transferred to Valon Mortgage?
Absolutely! All your loan records are being transferred but due to the amount of data, your online account will likely not be available until up to 15 days from the date of transfer.
Will Valon Mortgage continue to pay my taxes and insurance like Advisors did?
Yes, if your taxes and insurance were escrowed with Advisors, Valon Mortgage will continue to collect the same escrowed items as part of your monthly payment and disburse funds on your behalf. This includes all taxes, homeowners’ insurance, flood insurance, and mortgage insurance.
Can I create an account online? What is Valon Mortgage’s website?
Yes, you can at https://valon.com/transfer, but note all of your records will not be up and running on their system until up to 15 days from the date of transfer.
What if my payment is late to Valon Mortgage?
Banking regulations do not permit payments to be marked late in the first 60 days after a loan servicing transfer takes place. Note, that doesn't mean you do not need to make your loan payment; it just means that you cannot be reported as late in the first 60 days after a loan is transferred.
When will I hear from Valon Mortgage?
You can expect to hear from Valon Mortgage by December 12th with a welcome package that will be mailed to you.
Can I still call Advisors?
100%! The collection of your loan payments is now being handled by Valon Mortgage, BUT we will be here during and after your loan transfer.
