UU. public\u00f3 su \u00cdndice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), que mide la inflaci\u00f3n a nivel del consumidor, y aument\u00f3 0.6% en el mes de enero. El \u00edndice a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o aument\u00f3 de 7% a 7.5%. El n\u00famero mensual y el n\u00famero anual fueron m\u00e1s altos de lo esperado y ahora la inflaci\u00f3n anual est\u00e1 en su lectura m\u00e1s alta desde 1982.<\/p>\n<p>El IPC subyacente, que excluye los precios de los alimentos y la energ\u00eda, aument\u00f3 0,6% en enero. A\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o, el CPI b\u00e1sico aument\u00f3 de 5.4% a 6%. Entonces, si la Reserva Federal sube su tasa en marzo, es posible que veamos una ligera mejora en la tasa hipotecaria a continuaci\u00f3n.
